「Life Framer Photography Award」

「PLANET EARTH」 / shortrist

私の代表作である「Phoenix」が、Life Framer 2024年 「Planet Earth」部門のショートリストに選ばれました。

今回の写真コンテストは、ピューリッツァー賞を受賞した写真家である、@melissafarlow 氏により審査されています。

たくさんの素晴らしい作品の中から、私の作品を選んでくださった @life_framer に心からの謝意を伝えたいです。

また、いつもご支援くださる皆さまにも感謝申し上げます。

「Phoenix」

私の故郷である佐賀県は、日本有数の麦の生産地です。私は過去7年間、麦畑を撮影してきました。

収穫後、一部の農家は麦わらを燃やし養分として土に還元します。空から見ると、燃える麦畑はまるで「不死鳥」のように見えます。これは農家が意図的に燃やしたデザインではなく、偶然が産み出したシルエットです。

My masterpiece, “Phoenix,” was shortlisted in Life Framer’s “Planet Earth” category.

The photo contest was judged by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer @melissafarlow.

「Phoenix」

Hajime Hirano, Japan

My hometown, Saga Prefecture, is one of Japan’s leading producers of wheat. I have been shooting wheat fields for the past 7 years. After the harvest, some farmers burn the straw back to the soil.

From the air, this burning wheat field looks like a phoenix. This is not a design that was intentionally burned by a farmers. It is a silhouette that was created by chance.
